BioShock 2 Release Date Announced

UK,  September 18, 2009 - 2K Games has revealed that BioShock 2, the sequel to 2K Boston's critically-acclaimed 2007 hit, will be released worldwide on February 9, 2010.

BioShock 2 was originally scheduled for release this year but was pushed back into 2010 to "provide additional development time for the title" and "deliver what its fans expect and deserve".

Set ten years after the events of the first game, BioShock 2 sees players return to underwater dystopia Rapture, this time stepping into the hulking boots of the iconic Big Daddy. This follow-up marks not only the debut of ninja-quick Big Sisters but also a fully-featured multiplayer component, developed alongside the solo game by Digital Extremes.

Right guys with how things have gone and people leaveing to follow different pastures .i think its time to realy get our house in order once again.so whats this mean to many of you nothing but some lose of accesse to ck user group removale from xfire user group and so forth.when will this start  mondat 3rd of august.

i will be posting alist on forums of replies we get into3 catorgories cat 1 will be active members cat 2 inactive members who are inactive for one reason or another stated when they fill role call in and cat 3 no longer members but can re apply when situation changes

all we require from you is a small amount of your time to game and join us on ts and posting in the forums .i know cod4 currently is the fav game for every one but ive stated many times i didn't join a clan to play a game i loved i joined to play games with like minded people and thats what i enjoy most more than the game its self .listening to first and squirrel and destructor going of on one make it fun to game even if I'm not behind the game 100% my self. but until some thing new comes out we are stuck with it .so lets all pull together and keep on gaming .i would also like to add as from date of role call the server needs to be renewed and its only £30.00 so not much to ask now either

so all you now need to do is wait and look for the role call post on forums and then reply if you dint reply you go into section 3 reply and you go into 1 or 2  you will have 2 weeks  from post date to reply failure to do that will place you in section 3 automatically
 

Publisher Activision has compiled a list of games they will be showcasing at next week's E3, revealing the launch date for Wolfenstein.

id Software's newest outing in the Wolfenstein series once again puts BJ Blazkowicz deep behind the enemy lines of war-torn Germany, where Nazi experiments with technology and the occult threaten to turn World War II on its head.


In a press release Activision will be showing off Tony Hawk: RIDE, Modern Warfare 2, Wolfenstein, PROTOTYPE, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, Guitar Hero 5, Blur, DJ Hero, Singularity, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.


Wolfenstein has been confirmed for a North American release date of 4 August with the game following a few days later in Europe. Wolfenstein will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

If you are an avid gamer looking for a new and cool gaming keyboard, the Logitech G19 may be just what you want.

Features & Specifications

The Logitech G19 is packed with features including a tiltable color LCD called the GamePanel that sports a resolution of 320 x 240. The keys are backlit and the user can choose which keys are lit and which aren’t for a completely custom layout in a dark environment. Logitech designed the G19 so that it could accept input from five keys simultaneously.

Like previous generation G-series gaming keyboards, the G19 has 12 fully programmable G-keys that can be bound to macros recorded in game. On the top edge of the keyboard are two powered USB ports and the underside of the keyboard has a cable management systems. One touch media access controls are also integrated into the design.

In Use

One of the key aspects to any keyboard, gaming or normal, is typing feel. If the keys are mushy and offer poor tactile feedback the keyboard really isn’t good for much of anything. If you have used the other Logitech G-series keyboards before you know exactly what the typing feel of the Logitech G19 is like. Close your eyes and type on both the G19 and the G15 and you won’t be able to tell the two apart without looking.

Typing feel for those who have never used a G-series keyboard is good. The Logitech G19 is certainly not the best keyboard for typing that Logitech makes, but it offers nice tactile feedback. A slight click with each key press is great for touch typists and not too annoying after hours of use and the keys are sized well. You could use the Logitech G19 for daily computer work easily with the typing feel it offers.

Macro recording is straightforward and can be done in game by pressing the MR button, selecting the key you want to use and then hitting the keys for your macro. The programming is just like what Logitech has been doing on its other G-series keyboards for years and works very well.

Backlighting on the G19 is uniform and bright enough for the darkest environments. You can adjust the backlighting in the software to determine what keys glow and which keys don’t. The coolest feature is the LCD display, which is also one of the downsides of the keyboard. The LCD has surprisingly good image quality and you can watch video from sites like YouTube with no smearing, tearing, or other major issues with playback.

However, the LCD requires its own power supply. If the outlets around your desk are as in demand as mine are that can be an issue. The screen can show stats from compatible games to give you an at a glance view of hit points and more game information. Honestly, I never liked using the LCD of my G15 for game data; I didn’t like taking my eyes off the game to check when the stats were typically right on the screen anyway. The only thing other than the extra power adapter I can say about the Logitech G19 is that the thing is downright expensive at $199.

If you have the scratch lying around to spend on the G19, it is hands down the coolest gaming keyboard that Logitech has ever produced. DFX2 Open Beta

Apologies for the lack of communications over the last couple of months– everyone’s been incredibly busy with GDC, DF:AF and of course, finishing DFX2.

Thanks for your patience – I’ve got some good news for everyone. You should see an official press release next week with specifics on release dates, European distribution, price points and information on where to find DFX2 in both retail stores and digital download. We should have some more screens up following the official announcement.

Better yet, in the next week or two, a free beta of DFX2 will be available for everyone to download and check out both the single player and (of course) the multiplayer gameplay. Our plan is to let our Gold members test-drive the servers for a while first, and then open it upto the public. The response we’ve had on DFX2 from GDC has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re excited to give everyone a sneak preview of the real deal.

You can look forward to some gorgeous, exciting and immersive multiplayer environments, along with totally new weapons handling, NW squad support, improved networking and anti-cheat on NovaWorld servers.
